Jessica Schmidt, Administrator

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Psychology with a minor in Gerontology, University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point
  • Master’s Degree in Public Administration, graduate certificate in health care finance, University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
  • Over a decade of experience in long-term care
  • Hospice volunteer since 1994
  • Completed Dementia Specialist training through the Alzheimer’s Association
  • Project Manager for Community Care of Portage County (CCPC), responsible for developing the policies and procedures necessary to ensure CCPC was certified by the State of Wisconsin Department of Family Services as one of five Family Care management organizations in Wisconsin
  • Provider Network Manager for CCPC, responsible for negotiating and developing contracts with long term care providers, maintaining a network of over 200 providers, and monitoring quality of services through these contracted providers
  • Responsible for CCPC’s Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement program and facilitated projects to improve quality of health for individuals with congestive heart failure and diabetes
  • Participated in a variety of local workgroups and committees such as the Community Health Care Delivery Committee facilitated by Saint Michael’s Hospital, Chronic Care Consortium, and legislative workgroups for family care
  • Reputation in the industry for her devotion, understanding and respect for residents

Bradley Schmidt, Buildings and Grounds Director

  • Master’s Degree in Education, Silver Lake College
  • Teacher in the Stevens Point Area Public Schools
  • Provides maintenance support to both Maple Ridge of Plover and Maple Ridge of Plover Memory Care
  • Extensive experience in construction and remodeling
  • Built and owns several rental properties in Portage County

    “When I met Jessica in 1995, she was the director of both Maple Ridge homes. I remember helping her put up Christmas trees for the residents. Now we work together as owners of these homes to ensure our residents have a clean, well maintained home and that our staff have a nice place to work”.

Jennifer Seefelt, Director of Maple Ridge of Plover, Memory Care.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, UW-Stevens Point, 2007
  • Currently working toward Master's Degree in Social Work
  • Began her career as a caregiver while attending the UW-Stevens Point
  • Member of management in the Maple Ridge homes since 2004
  • In-depth knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of Dementia
  • Certified through the Alzheimer’s Association as a Dementia Specialist

Carleen King, Registered Nurse

  • Extensive nursing experience in the medical, surgical, pediatric, orthopedics, ambulatory surgery, and pre-admission fields
  • Ten years as Employee Health Manager for the Central Region at Ministry Health Care
  • Serves as health coach for business throughout the country

Jay Lindsay, Head Cook, Maple Ridge of Plover Memory Care

  • Diverse culinary experience, including experience in an Italian restaurant
  • Six years cooking experience in the CBRF profession

    I started cooking at a young age – helping my mom in the kitchen – and have made a wonderful career of it. My “down home cooking” is perfect for our facility because meal times are also social times. Good food and good conversation can really make a person’s day – and I take pride in that.”

    “Cooking is both rewarding and challenging. I make every effort to create well-balanced meals the residents will enjoy. I do that by listening to their preferences and I always welcome the opportunity to make a resident’s favorite recipe.”
